Answers the hotline and is able to provide assistance as required by the caller. Must be completely familiar with the Resource Guide and Shelter Policies and Procedures. Shall have knowledge of dynamics of sexual assault and family violence and must be completely comfortable with handling crisis situations. Upon completion of phone call, the volunteer must complete a 'hotline call sheet' for statistical purposes.
Requires 40 hours of training. Volunteer Application requires background check.
