Who We Are
Manna Meals serves hot meals each Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Our volunteer teams rotate the responsibility of planning the menu, preparing and serving the meal, and cleaning up afterward. Our clients are not required to provide any proof of need to receive a meal that is provided at no cost to the individual.
What We Do
Manna Meals (MM) is an all volunteer organization whose goal is to minister to people who may be struggling to put food on the table and/or in need of fellowship at no cost to the individual. MM serves hot meals each Monday and Thursday evening. Currently we have ten volunteer teams representing El Campo churches that rotate the responsibility of preparing and serving the meals. MM is truly a community organization coming together to meet one of the needs of our community. Our Mission Statement is:
Food First: Feeding those in our community is the highest priority of Manna Meals.
Building Community: Coming together to share a meal and a chance to converse satisfies our need for relationship; it also enables us to get to know our beighbors personally.
Opportunity to Serve: Manna Meals will continue to recognize the value of providing an opportunity for volunteers to express their values through service.
