Who We Are
Gulf Coast CASA, Inc. volunteer advocates provide the District Judge with detailed information needed to protect the children's best interest and ensure that they are placed in safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
What We Do
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national volunteer movement that began more than 30 years ago, when Judge David Soukup in Seattle decided he needed to know more about the children whose lives were in his hands. He asked community volunteers to act as a "voice in court" for abused and neglected children.
Gulf Coast CASA, Inc serve the abused children of Brazoria, Matagorda, and Wharton counties who have been removed from their home through no fault of their own and placed in foster care.
