Robert Duran Food Pantry, Inc.

Who We Are

The Robert Duran  Food Pantry has been ministering to the hungry in the community for many years.  Its mission is:

It is the policy of the Robert Duran  Food Pantry to serve those who do not have enough to eat and to do so in a caring, respectful manner.  The pantry will not discriminate against anyone regarding income, color, race, sex, politics, religion, or background.  All who need food are encouraged to come to the food pantry for assistance.

Our vision is:  That each day we help one more person to go to bed without hunger.  When you help one another you know you made a difference by the look on their faces when they walk out with their boxes of food.  Our goal is not only to feed them food but to feed their faith, to let them know that things will get better.

What We Do

The Robert Duran Food Pantry is a non-profit organization run totally by volunteers and with the donations of generous individuals, groups, organizations, churches and the United Way.
The pantry helps supplement food to those who do not have enough to eat, due to low income.

The pantry provides approximately 35-40 pounds of food  monthly to families who do not have enough to eat (two boxes to families with six or more ).
The Robert Duran Food Pantry is a member of the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent in Victoria, Texas.

We are extremely grateful to the Bethany Methodist Youth group from Austin who worked at the Pantry during their annual Mission By The Sea trip in June.  This wonderful group built steps at the back ramp and replaced a section of exterior wall.

In accordance with federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
